Ida Hammer

Ida has over 200 graduates that are certified trimmers working in the U.S. and abroad. Ida’s army of talented trimmers promote the Brave Horse brand to thousands of horse owners. Providing farriers with tools to keep horses calm ensures a consistently positive trimming experience. Ida teaches throughout the United States and currently maintains a client base of around 200 horses. Her classes can be found at the Mackinaw Dells2 Whole Horse Learning Center https://mackinawdells2learning.thinkific.com/ 

Kelso from our #1 selling product Kelso’s Cubes was fortunate to have Ida as his trimmer when he struggled with staying sound. Her comprehensive approach to his care significantly improved his mental health regarding past farrier experiences. Ida is an exemplary Brave Horse Ambassador, putting the horse first is our shared mission.  

Ida is a graduate and former member of the AANHCP. She has worked directly and indirectly with Pete Ramey . She has several CE hours in conference time with Dr. Robert Bowker from Michigan State University, Dr. Deb Taylor Auburn University, the Late Dr. Kerry Ridgway , completed Dr. Eleanor Kellon NRC Plus and Nutrition as Therapy.
